The Bishops of the United States have called for a
DAY OF PRAYER FOR PEACE in Iraq for this weekend of Saturday and Sunday, August 16 and 17
to show our solidarity with the Christian people and other minority religious groups in Iraq who are suffering persecution at the hands of the Islamic militants of ISIS.
We ask each of you to pray for peace, healing, and for a change of heart in the aggressors to help bring about an end to violence and persecution of people who have suffered so much not only in Iraq, but also in Syria, Israel and Gaza.
Fr. Stephen Ehiahuruike, S.D.V., St. Nicholas Pastor, welcomes you to our parish website
